What are the guild ranks?

Officer - These are the guild officers. They are the ones responsibility for the health of the guild making the decisions regarding raiding, loot, and membership.

Core Raider – Skilled, reliable, helpful and knowledgable regarding their class and general raiding. Only Core Raiders are guaranteed a raid spot. Core Raiders are expected to know boss encounters completely prior to pulls and be willing to help others improve and succeed in Faded. You can be demoted from this rank if you are not meeting the standards set for as a core raider. Showing up is not enough to maintain this rank.

Raider - Members that have proven that they are capable of playing their toon in a skilled manner as well as being an overall asset of the guild. This takes into account class knowledge and attendance. Raiders may not be able to consistently show up for raids, or may not have time or desire to help with the guilds success outside of their own needs. Raiders are expected to represent the guild and do the best they can do personally.

Reserve- Players that wish to make raider rank and are waiting for an available Raider position to open. These members have passed the application process and are now in a backup position for raiding spots and will be picked when there are available spots in raid. Reserve players need to be online and available to raid on all raid days. If they are not consistent they will be removed from guild or moved to community rank and no longer be considered to raid.

Community - Players that are here simply to be with friends/family. These are non-raiders and are not considered for raiding positions. These players can be invited to normal raids but will be considered after all of the previous ranks.

Alts – Alternate toons of one of the above categories. The name of the main toon is listed in notes.

How do I get into main raids?
At raid time it is assumed that all members that are on and ranked Officer, Core Raider, Raider, Trial, and Community wish to raid in the main raid.  Please do not bother an officer for an invite.

How are people picked for main raid?
Main raid is filled based on 2 criteria. First and foremost is raid makeup this is the determining factor for who does or does not go. The second criteria is rank. Invites are extended in the following order:

Officer/Core Raider > Raider > Reserve

Raiders are not guaranteed a raid spot.  We currently have 35+ members who are raider and above and only 25 spots available.  Show up on all 3 nights and your chance of getting an invite is greatly increased. Officers will pick from raiders and reserve to best succeed in the encounters.

Will I get to raid every raid?
Raid spots are a privilege not a right. There may be nights you have to sit because of raid makeup, attendance, or poor performance; this is part of being in a progression guild. You have to earn your regular raid spot. Don’t expect it just cause you show up a few days a week.

What if i am asked to raid on just one boss?
You have made the choice to be in a progression guild, sometimes that means you are saved to one boss and get no further raiding. Officers see who makes the sacrifices and who doesn’t. Do what is right for the guild as a whole and the guild as a whole will do right by you.

How long will I remain a trial?
You will remain a trial until officers believe you have earned a raider rank by being available and ready to raid and by your performance in those raids.

How do I go from Raider to Core Raider?
You will remain a Raider until officers determine you have earned your Core Raider rank. Core raider is earned by consistency in attendance, performance and attitude.

How does loot work in raids?
Faded uses loot council to distribute loot. (visit our PvE forums for Loot Council policy)

What if I am community and want to be Raider?
If an opening for a specific class or type (ie range, melee) becomes available officers will discuss with you becoming a raider you will likely need to apply like all Reserve members and then be considered for promotion to reserve.
